For Sweet Enough Bakes, I spearheaded the creation of an e-commerce website dedicated to offering delicious, health-conscious confections that cater to various dietary restrictions. Inspired by my personal journey—having grown up with food allergies and diabetic parents—I designed a brand and website that reflects both passion and purpose. From product selection to wireframes and interactive prototyping, I was deeply involved in every step before collaborating with the web developer to bring the vision to life.

Process and Approach

  • Research & Strategy:
    I began by researching customer needs and competitor websites to create a clear strategy. Inspired by my personal experience with food allergies and a desire to make baked goods more inclusive, I developed a brand identity and e-commerce strategy focused on health-conscious treats.

  • Wireframes & Prototyping:
    I created wireframes and prototypes that mapped out the structure and user experience of the website. These included intuitive navigation, easy access to dietary information, and a seamless checkout process.

  • Branding & Design:
    I designed the Sweet Enough Bakes logo, business cards, and visual identity. The brand’s colors, typography, and visuals were chosen to reflect the warmth and care that goes into each product, balancing the homemade feel with a polished, professional design.

Final Design

The final design focused on creating a minimalistic yet vibrant user interface that allows products to stand out. Key features include:

Homepage: A welcoming layout with a carousel showcasing featured cakes and easy access to the shop.

Shop: A well-structured catalog with filters for product types, dietary restrictions, and flavors.

Product Pages: Detailed descriptions, high-quality images, and an easy add-to-cart feature.

Mobile Optimization: A fully responsive design that provides the same user experience across all devices.

SEO: Implemented basic SEO strategies to ensure the site ranks well for key search terms.
